What are your goals?
Goals are something we put out in front of ourselves to reach one day. But who sets our goals. If someone else had set them for you to reach, should you attain them or another. If they belong to another why should you ever reach those goals, they are not for you. But the more we try the more disheartened we become. In this case our failures are our saviors. They, our failures, are there to prevent us from living an unauthentic life living out some one else's goals. They are there to keep us from living some one else's life. So who has set your goals?
Now if we have set our own goals, and we find ourselves not there yet; there is still something for us to learn yet so we may access them. It is like getting a pair of running shoes before you have learned to crawl. Even holding onto those sneakers for the future would be no good. By then your feet would have out grown them. The secret is in the symbol on the shoe. Victory comes from just doing it. As long as you are in the process of your life, all is fine. But if you are putting off what you deserve for another day, it might never come.
One of my Grandfather's goals was to work hard and retire, so he could enjoy life later. He was one of the first State Troopers in the country back in New Jersey. He Served under General Schwarskophf's father for many years as the head of traffic safety. Now every day before and after his shift at the barracks he would farm his tree nursery to save that money for the good life when he retired. As he bent over and felt the strain in his back from balling another tree, his thoughts went to the future enjoyment he would receive. As he bent over a second time and felt the strain in his back from balling just another tree, the thoughts of all the time he would have later in life to play golf and travel would sustain him. Well he retired right on schedule and he became ill. I knew him most of my life as the Grandfather who rarely left his bedroom who could not stand loud noise. A man who held a lot of authority in his youth had no voice in his maturity. He had his larynx removed. But besides that I still do not know why he never left his room and his bed? I can not recall any other ailments he had. Only thing I can imagine is that his life had left him before his body did. Too many years of being ignored. Life was always something to behold later and not in the moment.
Another one of his goals was to provide for his family? So he would work long hard hours and be on call at all hours of the night. Then in the morning be out in the field alone until he had to be at the barrack once again. He escorted rich widows from the grocery store and back, paraded and protected presidents such as Wilson and Roosevelt, Solved the Palisades Heights Murder, and was in Society column next to the Dows, the Vanderbuilts, and Rockefellers. He was always away from his family providing for them. Now as my Father looks back on him, he can not remember much about him until he got sick. At that point it was not hard to nail him down for a good game of Gin. But thirty years had slipped by. Yes, my Father's house was paid for in the first five years thanks to my Grandfather's savings, but I think my Father would of much preferred much more of his time a bit earlier.
Is it Too late to reassess? No it never is, but it is harder the longer you wait. Because the behaviors over our life time solidify and begin to be set in their own ways. Caught in time the old dog of your inner life can indeed be taught new tricks. One of the most popular afflictions is an incorrect understanding of ones social duty or Dharma. In Norse Mythology Tir, the god of the generals and the symbol of masculinity, is represented by an upright arrow. When this Rune is pulled it is a call for assertive energy to be called into play. It is asking for you to be assertive in a healthy and balanced fashion to strive for the peak of strength and creativity in your life. To charge your batteries to their full capacity. To come full round and gain your happiness in the moment and peak your personal wonder. The crux of the issue is this, once you at the peak of your knowledge, wealth, or happiness; you must perform the return.

Now the Return is expressed by Plato returning his character to the cave with the light, Frodo coming back to free the Shire of bandits, and Prometheus returning with his torch. To take everything you have learned, experienced, felt, or gained and give it freely in a wise fashion. It does not mean to empty your bank account and give it to the first homeless man you see, for that might not be what he needs to progress. He might just take all of that money and lose it on the horses. He might of just needed some one to share a bologna sandwich and an ear to listen, simple justification of his existence. Now if you handed him your king's ransom, you might be sharing the same refrigerator box! So give wisely of yourself, but do give. For Tir calls for you to never expire your future potential strength but to always give your kinetic strength. It is kind of like trying to provide the neighborhood with fresh eggs after you had roasted the hen.
There once was a man who had been a man working for Civil Engineering during the Roosevelt's public works days, who upon retiring taught at Boston College free of charge to the incurring immigrants in his spare time. So as you come home from work at the end of a seventy hour week and Junior wants to play catch and you barely have enough energy to lift your brief case unto the table, what was it that Junior really needed? Was it your wealth, knowledge, concern, time, understanding, compassion, Love, friendship, or laughter? Or D, all of the above. In a well balanced fashion. Some times we are just doing exactly what our parents had done for us without knowing any better. Sure, we say " I'll never do that to my children!" We all exceed our parents mark. But how far off was theirs in the first place. We need to know this to truly understand where that balance is in life. For we all must be that Professor, friend, or father to all through out our whole life..

For you and me are the same person and the same essence as that stone. Much like your finger is part of your hand which is in part of yourself. As Christ was the Son of God and at the same time God himself, we shall also be the Alpha and the Omega. But then again your finger is still your finger. Now again, if that finger of yours is cut by a rusty nail and your tetanus shot has expired? Left to its own, can kill the rest of the organism. In Ancient Rome, they let the middle class dissolve into poverty thinking they can retain the wealth in the higher echelons of the few. Now the tax base dwindled down to close to nothing and the infrastructure collapsed. Before they had 6% of millions of citizens, but now was reduced to 6% of the wealthiest thousand. Also when a Plebe in a distant outskirts coughed on a traveling merchant, well when all roads lead to Rome it is not hard to see how the plague reached up into the Senate.


Lord of the Rings; How is this an Adventure for the Yuppie Lost in Life?
Tolkien followed the tradition of the Nibelunglied from Norse Mythology of a Wife who brow beats her husband to remove all emotion from his life so he may in turn bury that part in his children and kill all logical opposition to him. For if he can not control his own life or wife's, who else can he push around besides his children?
This is the predecessor for all Dragon stories. Not only that it is the original story of a ring of extraordinary powers one must renounce all love for. Roma for Amor, the ring is the symbol of marriage that traps some women in the cave of subconscious repression of a bad emotion. The fear of financial security coupled with social opinion. But where does this start, when did it happen, Who's fault is it, and how to change it?
The story starts with Frigga, Odin's second wife representing civilization's triumph over his first wife of Nature, condemning the fear of an incestuous relationship of Sieglinde and Siegmund. This pair is also present in the relationship of Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker, the pair separated at birth in the life of a borderline child. The emotions are never validated within the family and forced to be second guessed which should of naturally been accepted in healthy homes. Before a child takes any action with consequence, career or marriage, he must bridge his emotional (Princess Leia/Sieglinde) with their Logical (Luke Skywalker/Siegmund) thinking. This motif is represented by the pair crossing the chasm through a leap of faith (Fool card in Traot) or walking a razor's edge between the two modes of thinking. The Goal is to gain employment (Logic) but which employment (Emotion). But Frigga has her husband to act on her behalf.
Now Odin, the megalomaniac ego that replaces emotional thinking for fear and consequence, now kills opposition where he can and removes the logical thinking and the self directed action from his children. By killing Siegmund. This is spurred on by Siegmund pulling the sword out of the tree, symbol of decisive action upon a goal. The fear of opposition to his weak ego, the child is suppressed and the anger toward the wife or mother is transferred. Like the Bully that is beaten in the home robs the milk money of the nerd.
After the death of Siegmund and the pieces of the broken sword are collected, sieglinde is hidden by Brunhilda in the east forest guarded by the Dragon Fafner. The sword Islidor breaks opposing Saurian, is the same sword that Siegmund finds in the tree which his son Siegfired like Aragorn will wield later. The east forest sieglinde is hidden in is the subconscioussnes of the inner child. The east represents the beginning and new start. The child of borderline parents, like the child, has a stunted development and is removed from access to adulthood. Only when a person has its emotions validated and has self direction in its action to attain its goals, in many ways it still reacts to the world much like a child and looks for others to make decisions and tell it how it feels. Its direction comes from Fox news, the mate, boss, or parent. Now Brunhilda is the emotional stirring that still remains in Odin, the father, that is entrapped after the scorn from his wife of Sieglinde escaping. Brunhilda is circled by fire until a hero can free her.
Now Sigelinde carries the seed of the logic of her dead brother. For even in the Dao symbol, there is a little white hole in black and vice versa. Emotional thinking caries a spark of logic that can grow. For her child Siegfried will become the dragon slayer. The Dragon is the generational and cultural split that pervades in families to bring societies into the wasteland expressed in T.H. Whites poem. The King and the land are one. As long Odin is separated in his thinking, so is the land in which the patriarchs or patriots of the country control. As after September 2001, it can be seen what happens when emotions from outside create fear in men to ignore their own emotions to ride a band wagon and put their actions into others to invade countries that do not oppose any logical threat. Now Siegfried will have his father's sword put back together again to slay the dragon. Like Aragorn.
After the slaying of the dragon, Siegfired will free Brunhilda and return emotional thinking to Odin the father. In alchemy the megalomaniac ego is called the sennex. In the Grail Cycle it is the Fischer King whose creative powers were staunch by a groin injury from raping a maiden at a well. Siegfried brings love and compassion to Brunhilda. This act overcomes the fear thinking that Frigga, civilization over nature, has bestowed upon her husband Odin. This is also seen in Nineteenth century architecture in America. Federalism was the response of better ships and the math of probability in shipping insurance that seemed to overcome nature. What in the previous century was exposed natural wood was covered up for painted wainscoting and wall paper. Everything man mad or improved was better than the poor man's natural finishing. Merchant over farmer. Christianity over paganism. Siegfried as Tolkien hoped his story world answer to the strip mining that was going on in his England merge civilization to nature. Ents and all. The wasteland is the void before the merger. But till then the sennex will not accept the son, Siegfried, until he has a better course of action than Frigga. The sons answer will not be accepted wholesale, but digested and absorbed to bring about a better and more individual answer than what the son brought. The son will give self determination, motivation, and acquisition of the self to the father.
Now to the person who started this all. Remember our foreparents had to fight ice age, Frost storms, draughts, famine, earthquakes, and unpredictable herds. Nature seemed to be a fickle parent. So man strove for technology and civilization to bring order and control to the world it feared. Civilization made us separate from the world that threatened us. Today we can be locked in our environment controlled homes. Even in the hottest summer sun in the Sahara, men can drive Hummers with A/C setting the interior to 60 degrees. But who has become our safe keepers? Those that promote the fear and separation. Frigga as civilization and fear removes our natural mother in the earth and instinct. Granted for a time in our world expressed in Tribal oriented societies in the third world up to the beginning of the last century had maintained a balance between civilization and nature. They had the latest technology but not the latest fashion out of Paris. They had people coordinating society and not dictating. Frigga has grown to large degrees in the way of the woman since the suffrage movement. Woman gave up the emotional grounding they gave children for goal setting. Love became conditional on success. At the same time men came back from two great Wars broken and not able to nurture their children but push forward their wives ambitions. If they spoke up it was aggressive and logical only. This has been prevalent in most of the worlds leading classes, with queens like Katherine of Aragon positioning of her wealth and power against her Husband Henry the Second. Just watch the Lion in Winter to see what happened to their children that became the predecessors of English Law that we find in America today.
With the rise of economic success, we have seen the rise of latch key kids and children sent to boarding schools. The Ruling class disease is prevalent through the world. The disease that does not let the father bring emotional support to the children if the Mother wants to pursue her goals outside of the family. To the slurs of Mr. Mom. Frigga is the woman that is opposed to her own emotional non logical and some times passive side. Frigga's separation from her self and lack of control is found within that of the husband and child. If she can not control herself, she controls those in her life and the world around her in the home at least.
After the freeing of Brunhilda to allow Odin's support of his logic with that of his emotions, Siegfried has freed him to use the sword to discern for himself his own direction that is finally guide by the balance of emotional validation and the knowledge of logic to become truly a king in his head to coordinate all his skills and wisdom to action and accomplishment of his dreams. In doing so he heals Frigga and society. Society learns to live in nature, not against but with. Alternative fuel sources and biodegradable resources that function and out perform hazardous ones of the past.
The song remains the same but the tune changes. In the Twelve hundreds the cultural response to this story in England and Europe was the Grail Cycle with fashionable Knights of the Round Table. In the beginning of the Twentieth century, it was Norse heroes fighting for the ring to control in the Lord of the Rings. Ring of marriage that controls many to forsake love of thyself. For when the ring is that of wealth and position, it is deadly. For when the ring becomes more important than love, it is too powerful. True marriage comes with true love of oneself first. Without that you only have a ring, and you will never understand how to love another. So to Frigga the ring was the wealth and control of her spouse to provide for her against the her fear of nature and the pieces of herself.

Physics of the Soul
When Protons and antiprotons collide they annihilate one and another and release energy in the form of photons Or you could say that when matter is destroyed, light is created. Is this much different than when a person dies, his soul departs. They say that when a person dies he becomes an ounce or so lighter. You might not believe this, because you can not see this energy depart the body, this light.
Now when the protons are annihilated by its contrasting particle it creates light that is beyond our vision which is in the Gama range. Is this light that of our soul? As with any large astral body, great energy is needed to keep it from collapsing upon itself. Contrasting gravitational forces must not exceed one another or else its part fly apart or implodes. So what happens when the heart stops bringing blood past the lung to energize itself with oxygen, do particles and antiparticles held within the body that contain the soul collide and release Gamma rays.
Also in Hindu and Chinese pagodas there is the belief the soul rises through stages to the point of non-existence. Could this now be the final melting down of the nuclei by 1000 Billion degrees, a million times hotter than our sun, into its fundamental constituents. Which as you can imagine could take a really long time. A long time to gather that much of energy just to release yourself from all existence. Now when souls fly around from life to life they keep a steady stream of states in a congruent order. A steady progression of changing nuclear masses and bonds with other atoms through time. But when the nuclei is melted down and the quarks are released to form new nuclei or just becomes raw energy. This is when the soul is released from its cycles of rebirths, just to be eventually settled into new souls with low energy or innate objects like tiny pebbles. Repeating the cycle all over in a completely new and unfamiliar state separated from its old parts.

Dante thought that at the center of the Galaxy all the highest angels and beings rotated and basked in the light of God to eventual collapse into his singularity. To be at one moment with God forever. As with Buddha when he was confronted with desire and fear under his Bodhi tree, he was at one in his singularity with the universe. No self, no desire, no fear of underachieving which meant in Buddhas case was death. But when you are in true singularity either you explode away from God as light or collapse into darkness as like in a black hole. X-rays can be seen escaping from Black holes, so some souls can escape, but most on this path fall upon the singularity and are frozen in time as is Lucifer at the center of hell half frozen in ice. There he chews upon you until he digests you into smaller and smaller dense parts. But as things break down into infinitely smaller pieces falling infinitely upon itself, it is also infinitely moving apart from itself and making a new universe in the small spaces of space that was never occupied before. As alice drank the tea she shrunk and the roof moved miles above her head, and when she ate the food her body bent over in half to keep her head from going through the roof. And in that new universe there is even more black holes that create new universes in its small spaces.
A straight line given enough time, will eventually curve back upon itself. By hitting dust, atoms, and other matter will deviate a line from its course and return it to its beginning. Even if it takes a trillion years and a roundabout zig zagging drunken route. So if something can have enough energy to propel its smallest parts for a really long time it will meet its starting point. Just like traveling on our earth in a straight line, we would climb hills, to plateaus, to mountains down into valleys to plains and enter the ocean down its trenches and up upon its beaches to start this process over. Not only forward and up and down, we do trip side to side as we stumble on rocks and people in our way. We travel in all three dimensions while we try real hard to travel in the one dimension. So when these Black Universe create infinite numbers upon itself it will eventual enter back into the original universe. Hopefully it will learn something by the time it returns, but by then it would be to late for it would have been long time gone since it departed it Gama stage where those chinese wished and hindus hoped for. Now it could only hope to coalesce into quarks one day.
Now when you fall upon the singularity of your God in the heat of the sun, you go back into the universe as a teacher or say brahman. The other choices is that you become the singularity in which you yearned for and let the previous guy go out and play; or you whiz off and become an Indra/odin/zeus/Jehovah/yahweh/ sun of your very own in which new matter will seek you out as there singularity. I much prefer the teacher role, helping those Hindus and Chinese move on their way to their flame so that real estate rates will eventual go down.
One proton of the material world to 10 billion photons of the spiritual world, there is more beings of spirit nature who know everything about everything that existed or was known in all time before, now, and future. For at the speed of light time is at an singularity of time. They all seem a little nuts up there without or varying degrees of any filtration system. Image all the states of all matter with infinite personalities in all time in one moment, You think your Uncle Harry was schizophrenic? Now you know why I like this world and write things like this! Imagine sharing a bath with all the people who ever died in all the worlds of all of the universes! It gets quite crowded.

Souls we mostly encounter are from our sun. At the center of our galaxy only photons exist, the rest are just sucked into a mammoth black hole the size of several solar systems. Now through all civilized religions stretching from Summeria, to Persian, Egyptian, Greco/roman, hindu, buddhist, Norse, gnostic, and the mystic systems of Judeo-christian. There is a God of the universe (or pair) and a god of the earth sky. Yimir and Odin; and Zeus, Geb/Nut Osirus, Indra and Brachman, El and Yahweh. Now each sun is its own indra/zeus in a larger galaxy within the universe. The Gods of all are a pairing of imagination with a stage, via matter and space, or painting to canvas. These are the creators of the universe. So the universe exist because you perceive it and even more important imagine it. Chicken or egg?
All you can think up and believe in hard enough shall exist. But desire and fear create doubt that changes you imagination into failure. So I purpose if a child was raised in a society that every one flew about in the sky by means of hidden propulsion systems that the child never knew about. Through determination, practice and allot of belief that child would be the first to fly on its own accord with out any outside propulsion system. Ever heard of the bumble bee? Believe hard enough anything is possible!

If I told you all and correct there would be no wonder left, thus for no more reason for life or just psychology and philosophers.
